Yeshivas are educational institutions that teach traditional Judaic values and philosophies through thoughtful examination of the sacred texts, the Talmud and the Torah. Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel has about 800 students from the preschool through collegiate levels. The school was established by its current co-principals, Rabbi Zvi Turk, and Rabbi Yehuda Jacobson, and Rabbi David Harris, in 1988.

Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel offers a rigorous traditional methodology based on reasoning and compelling dialogue. The school also encourages its graduates to promote Judaic values and ideals by working in the Jewish educational system. After leaving Tiferes Yisroel, many students go on to specialized institutions for the advanced study of religious texts.
