Irving Langer

The recipient of a psychology master’s degree from Long Island University, Irving Langer balances his career as a real estate executive with his commitment to philanthropy. He and Miriam, his wife, recently provided support for Ohel Family Services’ new Irving and Miriam Langer Center for Developmental Disabilities at the Ohel Jaffa Family Campus. In addition, he holds the position of president of Bais Medrash of Harborview and is chairman of the board of Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel.

Irving Langer heads E & M Associates, a real estate company that he founded in 1971. It has grown from a storefront into a nationwide investment and management company that employs around 300 members of staff and manages a portfolio of 10,000 or so properties in New York, Arizona, Florida, and other states. The company employs the strategy of identifying high-value, long-term investment properties while maintaining a commitment to tenant satisfaction.

During his leisure time, Mr. Langer pursues a range of hobbies, including horseback riding, scuba diving, and boating. He also stands out as the author of The Kosher Grapevine: Exploring the World of Fine Wine, a book about kosher wines and the role of wine in Jewish culture and history.
